Abstract

This research aims to examine the implications of the Islamic vision of sustainable development and to identify the way Islamic law has addressed its environmental, economic, and social dimensions. This is achieved by examining evidence from the Prophet’s biography, which includes foundations that align, in some cases, with the goals of sustainable development, while also encompassing more comprehensive foundations for achieving sustainability. This is particularly true given that these foundations and principles are consistent with Islamic societies, as well as defining the responsibilities of the individual, society, and the state within the framework of the exalted status that God Almighty has bestowed upon humanity through stewardship and empowerment. The research adopted an inductive approach by examining the hadiths (prophetic traditions) that encompass the meanings and values of development, and then identifying general rules and requirements that contribute to strengthening Islamic experiences. The research concluded that Islamic law encompasses foundations and principles that can contribute to building a sustainable Islamic development project that promotes social justice and achieves the good life.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة مضامين الرؤية الإسلامية للتنمية المستدامة، وتحديد الطريقة التي عالجت بها الشريعة الإسلامية أبعادها البيئية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية، وذلك عن طريق تقصي شواهد تدلل عليها في السيرة النبوية الشريفة، بما تتضمنه من مرتكزات تتسق في بعض أهدافها مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة من جهة، وتنطوي على مرتكزات أكثر شمو ا لًا في تحقيق الاستدامة من جهة أخرى، ولا سيما مع كونها تشتمل على أسس ومبادئ تنسجم مع المجتمعات الإسلامية، فض عن تحديدها لمسؤوليات الفرد والمجتمع والدولة في إطار المكانة السامية التي منحها الله تعالى للإنسان من خلال الاستخلاف والتمكين، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي عن طريق تتبع الأحاديث الشريفة التي تتضمن معاني التنمية، وقيمها، ومن ثم تحديد قواعد ومتطلبات عامة، تسهم في تعزيز التجارب الإسلامية، و قد توصل البحث إلى اثبات أنََّ الشريعة الإسلامية تشتمل على أسس ومبادئ يمكن أن تسهم في بناء مشروع تنموي إسلامي مستدام، يعزز العدالة الاجتماعية، ويحقق الحياة الطيبة.
