Abstract
Burt’s method is a significant process research method that provides information that directly affects the scheduling process of complex projects and planning and monitoring their completion. As a result, it has gained notoriety among practitioners in the field of specialization and offers additional advantages through computer systems for completion. It seeks to finish the project as quickly as possible while using the resources and capabilities that are available and at the lowest feasible cost. The evaluation of the performance of companies is represented in the extent of the ability of the company’s management to evaluate the performance of its activities to achieve optimum utilization of time and cost consumption according to it, which is consistent with the company’s material capabilities to accomplish the planned revenue and the company’s profits. The bags project is one of the projects developed in the State Company for Textile and Leather Industries - Hilla, which provides bag products of various kinds. Still, at high costs exceeding the planned level, which requires adopting modern methods with more excellent technology in controlling and rationalizing costs, the Burt method is one of those effective in saving time and thus on the costs of that time and rationalizing it.
