Abstract

This research examines the role of financial inclusion in improving the quality of financial decisions for individuals and institutions in emerging and developing economies. The research focuses on how the availability of accessible formal financial services enhances the ability to make informed and rational financial decisions. The scope of the study includes examining the relationship between access to formal financial services and positive financial behavior, as the literature shows that individuals with higher levels of financial inclusion are more likely to engage in positive financial behaviors such as regular saving and responsible investing (Musa et al., 2025).  The research aims to identify how financial inclusion impacts improved financial literacy and the ability to manage financial resources efficiently across different population segments (Didenko et al., 2023). The research also explores how the availability of diverse financial products and services empowers individuals, especially those from low-income and marginalized groups, to make financial decisions that reflect their actual needs and contribute to financial stability at the household and broader economic levels.
The research is expected to clarify the specific mechanisms through which financial inclusion affects the quality of financial decision-making, including the role of financial literacy, trust, and financial behavior. The research includes studying key variables such as the degree of access to financial services, the quality of those services, the extent to which individuals understand and use them, and their impact on decisions related to saving, borrowing, investing, and long-term financial planning. The study highlights the importance of financial inclusion not only as a matter of access but also as a crucial element in empowering individuals and families to make informed financial choices that contribute to improving their living standards and reducing poverty. The summary concludes by noting that the research findings will provide valuable insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and financial literacy practitioners, with the aim of designing more effective programs and interventions that promote financial inclusion and improve the quality of financial decisions among various segments of society. The research also contributes to understanding future research trends necessary to deepen our understanding of how modern and innovative financial services can contribute to achieving sustainable and inclusive economic development, especially in developing countries and emerging markets.
