The Impact of Integrated Reporting in Rationalizing Investment Decisions and Value Enhancing

Abstract

The current research aims to identify and understand integrated reporting reports and to demonstrate their impact in investment decisions of publicly traded companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange and their role in enhancing the market value of these companies. To achieve this objective, a questionnaire was distributed to a group of investors in the Iraq Stock Exchange and processed using the SPSS statistical software. The questionnaire was analyzed using several statistical methods (factor analysis, correlation coefficient, and simple linear regression). The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that integrated reporting reports are a means of conveying all the information needed by users of these reports and are of great importance to them, especially investors. Economic stability and achieving targeted growth require comprehensive information about the surrounding internal and external environment, which leads to presenting a complete picture of all financial, economic, environmental, and social aspects that work together to create value. The most important recommendation was the need to focus on both financial and non-financial information, because focusing only on one type leads to neglecting many aspects and information that would influence the rationalization of investment decisions, the market value of Shareholders companies, and their future performance.

يهدف البحث الحالي الى معرفة وفهم تقارير الابلاغ المتكامل وبيان مدى تأثيرها في قرارات الاستثمار للشركات المساهمة المدرجة في سوق العراق للاوراق المالية وتعزيز قيمتها السوقية، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم استعمال استمارة استبيان وزعت على مجموعة من المستثمرين في سوق العراق للاوراق المالية،وتم معالجتها باستخدام البرنامج الاحصائي SPSS ،وخضعت الاستمارة الى التحليل وفقاًً لعدد من الاساليب الاحصائية (التحليل العاملي، معامل الارتباط والانحدار الخطي البسيط)، وتوصل البحث الى عدد من الاستنتاجات اهمها تعد تقارير الابلاغ المتكامل وسيلة لايصال جميع المعلومات التي يحتاجها مستخدمي تلك التقارير وذات اهمية كبيرة لديهم لاسيما المستثمرون، اذ ان الاستقرار الاقتصادي وتحقيق النمو المستهدف يتطلب معلومات متكاملة عن البيئة الداخلية والخارجية المحيطة بها مما يؤدي الى تقديم صورة متكاملة لجميع الاوجه المالية والاقتصادية والبيئية والاجتماعية التي تشترك مع بعضها في انشاء قيمة لها، وكانت اهم التوصيات ضرورة التركيز على المعلومات المالية وغير المالية لان التركيز فقط على نوع واحد يؤدي الى الاغفال عن العديد من الجوانب والمعلومات التي من شأنها التأثير في ترشيد قرارات الاستثمار والقيمة السوقية للشركات المساهمة وأداءها المستقبلي.
